The president has long proven his affinity at this point for going after the nation’s justice system, and just because you are no longer a part of that justice system, that doesn’t mean that you’re going to be able to escape his wild fury.
He proved that during a telephoned-in appearance on his favorite show Fox & Friends this Thursday that quickly devolved into thirty minutes of mayhem. Yet again, he took the opportunity to go after former FBI Director James Comey, who he fired early last year, and in the process, he seemed to contradict himself going from the beginning to the end of literally just one single sentence.
In other words, if anyone out there was still on the fence when it comes to whether or not the president has an actual substantive case against James Comey, the president’s Thursday appearance on Fox should answer your question. He’s just babbling.
Speaking of Comey and the memos he kept documenting his questionable interactions with the president, Trump commented:
‘He also leaked the memos, which are classified. Nobody unclassified them, and those memos were about me and they’re phony. He didn’t write those memos accurately.’
How can something be both inaccurate and classified?
File that one at the end of a long list of questions that remain to be answered about the Trump administration.
