President Trump Tweeted A Disgustingly Politicized Thanksgiving Message

The president is not going to pass up any opportunity to push his racist agenda, no matter what the cost. He came into office promising to build a wall along the border between the U.S. and Mexico and deport millions of people who didn’t have proper paperwork, and he’s not going to let anything detract him from that goal — even Thanksgiving.

As Thanksgiving began, the president took to Twitter to — in theory at least — offer an obligatory “presidential” Thanksgiving message. In practice, the president delivered a message that completely ignores the whole point of Thanksgiving and the fact that there are more issues at play here than just what makes him the most comfortable.

He wrote:

‘HAPPY THANKSGIVING, your Country is starting to do really well. Jobs coming back, highest Stock Market EVER, Military getting really strong, we will build the WALL, V.A. taking care of our Vets, great Supreme Court Justice, RECORD CUT IN REGS, lowest unemployment in 17 years….!’

First of all, the positive economic indicators that he mentions pretty much all began improving under President Obama. He can’t take credit for them.

Secondly, did he really tweet about his racist wall on Thanksgiving? Racism and genocide are exactly what so many people are continuously trying to get away from in the context of Thanksgiving — and yet here Trump is, peddling the idea that his racist wall is a good idea, on Thanksgiving.

President Trump eventually posted a short Thanksgiving video message on Twitter, which you can see below.
