President Trump switches up who he blames for his failures depending on what day it is. Some days, it’s Democrats, but most recently, Trump’s favorite target has been Republicans.
The Trump Administration’s health care bill is continuing to limp along in the Senate after having barely passed the House earlier this year, and Trump has been taking to Twitter lately to practice the only negotiating tactic he seems to ever use — angry Twitter rants.
Trying to put some fire behind Senate Republicans and get them to support his bill, which is coming up for a preliminary vote soon, Trump wrote on Twitter this week:
‘If Republicans don’t Repeal and Replace the disastrous ObamaCare, the repercussions will be far greater than any of them understand!’
What kind of “repercussions” is Trump aware of that Congressional Republicans are not aware of? It sounds, in the words of one commenter, like this tweet got posted by a mafia boss.
Does he mean that, in an effort no doubt helped along by his own maneuverings, Congressional Republicans who don’t support TrumpCare will see their re-election campaigns falter?
Perhaps he’s referring to effects on the health care system itself? If so, he’s not exactly one to talk, since he recently seemed to indicate that he thinks someone can get healthcare for 12 dollars a year.
As we wait for whatever happens next when it comes to the U.S. health care system, check out Twitter’s thoughts on the president’s latest Twitter rant about healthcare.
