Well this is interesting.
George Conway, husband of the infamous Kellyanne, happens to have a Twitter account, and he took to criticizing none other than President Trump himself on the social media platform this Monday.
Conway’s criticism was of the President’s early Monday morning tweetstorm about his administration’s proposed Muslim targeting travel ban, which is currently waiting to go before the Supreme Court following the Trump Administration’s appeal of a lower court’s decision to strike it down.
The criticism from Conway assumes that the travel ban is something that should, in fact, be implemented, and although such isn’t the case, there’s still a good point to be made in that Trump, quite simply, has no idea what he’s doing, without even having to regard what it is that the President is trying to do.
The original tweet that George replied to reads: “The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.”
The interestingly on point response from George Conway reads: “These tweets may make some ppl feel better, but they certainly won’t help OSG get 5 votes in SCOTUS, which is what actually matters. Sad.”
Conway, an attorney, was at one point allegedly being considered for a position in the administration. He has confirmed that the @gtconway3d Twitter account belongs to him.
