Harry Potter’s J.K. Rowling Delivers Perfect Twitter Burn On Trump For His Nasty Response To London Attack

President Trump took to Twitter following the late Saturday terror attack in London and embarrassed us all with his belligerent response to the incident, attacking London Mayor Sadiq Khan for not responding how Trump feels he should have.

In response, J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series and other works, gave those who aren’t behind Trump the perfect, appropriate rallying cry against the President’s ridiculously belligerent attack on Mayor Khan.

Early Sunday morning, well under 24 hours after the attack, which claimed the lives of 7 people, took place, Trump wrote on Twitter, ‘At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is “no reason to be alarmed!”‘

The Mayor of London’s statement is, of course, completely appropriate, seeing as the attackers were all dead within ten minutes of the first phone-in to police about the incident, so there is no acute reason for Londoners to be alarmed any more than they no doubt already are.

Trump simply prefers “alarmism,” as reflected in, among other things, his insistence on a travel ban that targets tens of millions of Muslims in response to a terror threat that is literally basically non-existent.

In response to Trump’s tweet, the British author J.K. Rowling proved yet again that no, Donald doesn’t have the best words, she does.

Rowling wrote on Twitter in response to Trump’s tweet attacking Khan: “It’s called ‘leadership’, Donald. The terrorists were dead 8 minutes after police got the call. If we need an alarmist blowhard, we’ll call.”

Precisely.
