Major, Massive Music Festival Forced To Evacuate After Terrorist Threat

Rock am Ring in Germany, one of the multiple massive rock festivals that hit the European continent each summer, has just been completely evacuated due to a terror threat.

BBC says that some 85,000 people were expected to visit the three day festival, which was set to run June 2 through June 4. Rock am Ring is apparently also celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

In a Facebook post, the festival organizers say that they hope that the festivities can resume tomorrow.

A video taken while festival attendees were vacating the premises shows no apparent problem with the festival organizers’ request for the place to be evacuated in a “calm and controlled manner.”

Just last week, 22 people were killed after an ISIS suicide bomber targeted a Ariana Grande show in Manchester, England.
