Ivanka Trump Gets Torn Apart For Ridiculously Hypocritical Memorial Day Tweet

If Ivanka Trump really wanted to work for the betterment of the living conditions of American veterans, there are a number of things that she could so, but none of those things include posting tweets.

Her family has a notoriously poor record on supporting the military, something that stretches all the way back to the elder Donald’s weaseling out of the draft in the Vietnam War era. Trump cited bone spurs in both of his feet as disqualifying him from service, but he seemed to be able to use his feet fine enough so as to play sports at the time of his draft dodging.

Much more recently, Trump has shown his utter disrespect for the lives of American soldiers through the nonchalant nature with which he has approached the possibility of going to war — and Ivanka has allegedly been in on it. Eric Trump suggested as much while speaking to the media earlier this year about his father’s sudden decision to bomb a Syrian government target in the wake of a chemical attack against Syrian civilians.

Notwithstanding all of this, however, Ivanka evidently found it nothing to post a tweet on Memorial Day feigning support for those who have lost their lives while serving in America’s Armed Forces.

Ivanka’s tweet reads: “Today we honor the men & women in our armed forces who have lost their lives to protect our freedom. Thank you for your service.”

You can check out some of the best replies to Ivanka’s remarkably hypocritical tweet below.

President Trump only ever acknowledged the first two of the below depicted individuals, who were killed in an anti-Muslim hate crime, through a spokesperson, days after the incident took place.

He appears to have never referenced the third person, who was killed by a white supremacist.
