Twitter Eats Trump Jr. Alive For Dumb, Incriminating Tweet About Trump/ Russia Scandal

Donald Trump Jr., as is long well known, is the member of his family most likely to take after his father’s habit of tweeting things that would be better left unsaid for a whole host of reasons.

Wednesday was no different.

On Wednesday, the President’s son and one of his two children who have taken over the family businesses while Trump is in the White House retweeted a post from Fox News host Geraldo Rivera.

The post concerns the ongoing fallout over reports about a memo that now former FBI Director James Comey wrote allegedly detailing President Trump’s efforts to get the now fired Comey to stop investigations into Trump associate Michael Flynn. If true, those efforts on Trump’s part are a possibly impeachable obstruction of justice.

Rivera, however, thinks otherwise, writing the following on Twitter this Wednesday: “News Flash, @realDonaldTrump hoping @JamesComeyFBI cuts @MikeFlynn some slack because he is a ‘good man’ is not close to #Obstruction.”

Trump Jr. added a one word comment to that post, saying, “Truth.”

The thing is, there hasn’t been much any official word from the Trump administration as to the “Comey memo.” Although they’ve indicated that the reports about the memo are inaccurate, Trump, for one, hasn’t come out and said that outright.

Trump Jr.’s seconding of Rivera’s argument was immediately, widely taken as a verification of the reports about the Comey memo, although he denied that it was anything of the sort in a follow up tweet.
