Prominent Liberal Journalist Kurt Eichenwald Wants Republicans Who Voted For Trumpcare To ‘Watch Their Families Die’

Only in Trump World can there arise a story like this one.

Kurt Eichenwald, who gained notoriety most recently on account of his long form exposes about Donald Trump during his rise to power, evidently wants Republicans who voted for Trumpcare to see their loved ones suffer and die.

That’s not conjecture. That’s what the guy tweeted.

You can see a screenshot of that tweet in CNN journalist Oliver Darcy’s tweet below.

He deleted the one shown above, replacing it with the following message:

‘On the advice of ppl who care, I am deleting my tweet and restating it in a less aggressive way: Millions like me tonight dont know if GOP “health” bill will pass & kill them. I hope those who vote for it someday face same anguish we do.’

That tweet is, technically, less aggressive.

Still, does Eichenwald really think that calling for people to face pain and suffering will somehow make the situation better for people who might be negatively affected by Trumpcare? He’s literally, by definition, playing right into the Trumpsters’ hands, and even into the hands of Trump himself.

Trump and the rest of the Republicans try all the time to cast themselves as the true guardians of humanity or whatnot, and Eichenwald’s angry rant that he refuses to take back lets them do just that.

Responding to criticism, Eichenwald wrote the following on Twitter: “Nobody tell me how to feel knowing if I lose my insurance, Im dead. I want the GOPrs who support this to feel the pain in their own families.”
