Ever since the first failure of the Trump-era efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare, Republicans have been working furiously on efforts to mend their plans to avert another failure and get Trumpcare passed.
The latest incarnation of Trumpcare isn’t significantly different from the previous ones, according to all available assessments of the bill, but it’s different enough for it to come very close to having enough votes to pass. Mind you, this Republican Congressman attracting difference isn’t a lesser amount of people who will lose their coverage. About the same tens of millions of people will lose their health coverage should this latest bill pass.
There is now, according to a “lobbyist source” speaking to Topher Spiro of the Center for American Progress, a vote planned on the latest incarnation of Trumpcare for either Wednesday night or Thursday.
