The apple really doesn’t fall from the tree, does it?
Donald Trump Jr., the son of the guy who has made a name for himself through tweeting dumb stuff, tweeted some dumb stuff this Friday afternoon.
He wrote the following alongside a link from The American Spectator: “Interesting, I doubt the MSM will even look: ‘Confirmed: John Brennan Colluded With Foreign Spies to Defeat Trump.'”
The problem is that the link which Trump Jr. posted is, quite simply, fake news. The article which he posted spins a report from The Guardian into something which it, quite simply, is not. The original Guardian report simply states that British spies were the “first to spot [the] Trump team’s links with Russia.”
Twitter users were quick to point out that what Trump Jr. posted was fake news.
Trump Jr. has emerged recently as a major spout of the same kind of filth that President Trump himself spouts. Trump Jr. is also one of the two Trump sons who have been tasked to lead the Trump Organization while the family patriarch is in the White House.
This isn’t the first time that he’s tweeted something like this, and it almost certainly won’t be the last.
